Communications:

Friends of a band asked me to show them a drummerI indicated them one, but they didn't get along musically, so I introduced him to other friends (a guitarist and keyboard player) who worshiped him, and we did a great show last Saturday. I introduced to the first, another drummer, with whom I had played.
In 2008 we were together in a band performing the greatest hits of Jethro Tull (Thick as a Brick, Acqualung, and others), and I knew he played well, but now he's playing better. Ten days prior to this test, I had gone alone in the studio with him, just guitar and drums, we played and then I gave him a list of 40 Beatles songs we were going to play with the others, with the original arrangements of the Beatles, and in the band rehearsal he played all the songs perfectly.
We made a terrific rehearsal last night, and they immediately put him in the band. Now he is scheduled to play a show that we will present next week in a country town.As I get along well with all of them, now I'm playing bass in two bands with these two drummers, and also acoustic guitar with percussion in Brazilian music.
When there is nothing more to say, the music should talk. Music always opens and shows the paths, at least with me has always worked well, and hopefully will continue to be so. It breaks the silence. Soon I will post music.
We waited nine months to be born, and as the guitarist and singer Gilberto Gil says in a song: I'm in no hurry to catch the bus or to get things done. Next month I think I'll put music, but I would like to confirm who is there "now", every afternoon, two on a blog, and one on the other. Adorably crazy, isn't it?
But to know that, I guess I'll have to put music first.
It's not a question of being lazy, it's perhaps more a matter of being a bit of a perfectionist.
In the broadest sense of the word.
